my mindsay: "Go Beyond Your Limits, Just Because You Can."

I'm not sure should I call it "Puzzles of Life" or "Puzzles in Life". But I actually wanna say is, those puzzles which I encountered in life from time to time.  Puzzles are those things that I can not understand or don't know how to handle.

I write this blog with that title is because I want to remind myself on something besides sharing my thoughts/life.  In fact, most of the time my blogs are my reminders.  Thats many thoughts come in my mind everyday & always I have many questions asking why this, why that. Sometimes I got the answers but sometimes they remain as questions.

Like today I think I found something which I think it is good to write it down.  This was happen when during my revision of my text book.  It was a very tick text book teaches people how to write C program.  OK, some people don't know what it is, but doesn't matter, just, it is a text book.

I used to like reading text book a lot during my high school time. I remember that time I was so hardworking went through every text books even without the instructions from teacher.  I was having that kind of initiative which I'm quite surprised now when I think back, right now.

So I recall back why that time I have such initiative, such gut / positive action to go through my text books.  Then I found that it is because I found some 'secret' during that time.  Or I should call it " good tips to learn new thing"  and I used to practice this principle a lot to cover up all the chapters in my academic books.  It was the tips which gave me a 100% for my chemistry objective exam paper. (Of course I never expect to get full mark for my subjective & practical lab exam). These tips also helped me to get almost full mark for my maths as well.  They also helped me to sharpen my memory to memorize my Biology, Chemistry, Physics & History.

So, what I wonder now, is, where's my memory about what I have gone through.  I'm kind of like losing the 'weapon' which can help me to solve the problems in my daily life now.  Now only I'm awaken. Glad.  Lucky me.

Actually the tips that I'm saying is that; suppose when I learn a new thing, simple or complex, I'll take a first glance. Have a 'feel' on what I'm reading, why I'm reading, what will I know before & after (just like the objective before you begin to read a new chapter in your text book). With that, an incomplete picture can be framed up in my mind.  OK, then now on, I'll try on some questions/ exercise  related to the topics that I'm reading, if there are available.  Doesn't matter if I did it right or wrong, I just do it. But if I don't know how to answer them, I'll just leave it. I won't check on the answers up to now.  By now, I roughly know what I've missed during my reading, what I actually didn't get a good understanding on, what I suppose/suppose not to go into depth, etc.

Then after, I start over again with second time of reading. During my second time of reading, when I come across /arrive the portions which I missed before, since I know they are those which I missed, I take more attention on them now.  With that, I improve my memory on them. I can say, now I strengthen my memory on them.    Later then, I try again the questions & answer those which I'm not able to answer previously.

Up to now, I'll check how much I've covered. How capable I can answer the questions/exercises & then I decide whether I need to continue to third reading, or fourth reading & so on until I fully satisfy with my comprehension on this particular chapter.  This will also depend on how much time I have plan to cover it.

Thats it.

I think those missing portions that I mentioned just now are those puzzles.  On the second or third (or so on) reading, I pick up the answers here & there & replace/fit them to my puzzles. Come to think of it, no wonder they say setting up puzzle is good to train our brain on eyes sharpness, patience & memorizing power.

It is time to use back this method. Smiley
